History and business tradition 

Jošne d.o.o. Kostajnica started its business in 1999, when it was mainly engaged in tree-felling services, and extraction of wood assortments for the needs of the public enterprise “The Forests of Republic of Srpska”. As business activities increased, the company built and launched a sawmill in 2005, while only five years later, wood kiln plants were put into operation in order to meet the needs of foreign customers to the highest extent possible.

Jošne d.o.o. Kostajnica je kompanija koja posjeduje zaokružen proizvodni proces, siguran plasman i naplatu svojih potraživanja, te izgrađen rejting u djelatnosti kojom se bavi. Prilikom proizvodnje iskorištenje sirovine je potpuno – krupni pilanski sortimenti su primaran proizvod, a svi ostaci se upotrebljavaju za proizvodnju peleta. Firma je opremljena svim potrebnim prevoznim sredstvima, mašinama za obavljanje potrebnih radova na terenu – kamioni, šleperi, viljuškari, bageri, skipovi, specijalni šumski traktori i sl.

The company presently generates 80% of its income from the foreign market, cooperating with some of the most famous companies from Germany, Italy, Slovenia, etc.

The company is FSC-C105833 certified.

Jošne d.o.o. gives great attention to the production and distribution of pellets, which in recent years is taking lead in the production and consumption of fuel for heating. 

Pellets, produced by company “Josne”, have the ash content ranging from 0.5% - 1.5%. A maximum of 15 kg of ash is left after burning one ton of pellets. The utilization of thermal energy in pellets is over 90%.
