History and business tradition 

Founded in 2005, as a craft business for the production of beds, Masterwood d.o.o. from Kozarac in a short period of time developed into a medium-sized company, classified as one of the strategic companies for the Republic of Srpska’s wood industry. In 2009, the company purchased the first production hall of 1000 m2, while in 2018 it moved to factory premises of 32.000 m2, which contain a sawmill and a wood steamer, enabling a complete process of primary wood processing and wood finishing.

The core business of D.o.o. Masterwood is manufacturing of high quality mass beds, which has been a major business orientation from the very start. The most attractive product is bunk bed, which has gained high popularity on the EU market. The company has built a good reputation thanks to the continuous technical-technological development, expansion of production capacities and acquisition of work skills. The latest investments resulted in the production of more demanding wood bedroom furniture of more demanding shapes, and of higher quality, and thus in a higher price range. 

About 90% of products are exported to the EU market, primarily Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany and Spain, while negotiations with new customers are a part of daily working routine. Current production capacity of the company is 16,000-18,000 beds per year, with a tendency to increase. Future plans target the continuation of technological and personnel progress, and the novelty is also cooperation with designers for the purpose of making higher price range products. Company “Masterwood” participated at the prestigious furniture fair in Cologne in 2016, as one of the chosen companies with the ability to present the products that meet the requirements of German market.

Beds are made of beech wood, and the intention is to introduce other noble types of wood in the offer. The wood surface is treated with the highest quality protective coating, giving it an attractive appearance, and most importantly, making it safe for human health.
