History and business tradition 

Jošne d.o.o. Kostajnica started its business in 1999, when it was mainly engaged in tree-felling services, and extraction of wood assortments for the needs of the public enterprise “The Forests of Republic of Srpska”. As business activities increased, the company built and launched a sawmill in 2005, while only five years later, wood kiln plants were put into operation in order to meet the needs of foreign customers to the highest extent possible.

Jošne d.o.o. Kostajnica is a company that carries out the entire production process, has a secure placement and collection of its receivables, and is highly rated in the industry within which it operates. During production, the exploitation of raw materials is to the fullest - large sawmill assortments are company’s primary product, while all residues are used in the production of pellets. The company is equipped with all required transportation means, machines for performing necessary field work - trucks, trailer trucks, forklifts, excavators, skip loaders, special forest tractors and the like.

The company presently generates 80% of its income from the foreign market, cooperating with some of the most famous companies from Germany, Italy, Slovenia, etc.

The company is FSC-C105833 certified.

Jošne d.o.o. gives great attention to the production and distribution of pellets, which in recent years is taking lead in the production and consumption of fuel for heating. 

Pellets, produced by company “Josne”, have the ash content ranging from 0.5% - 1.5%. A maximum of 15 kg of ash is left after burning one ton of pellets. The utilization of thermal energy in pellets is over 90%.
